Wiring diagram for the ignition switch on a 2000 chevy s10 ?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to do that. The key and tumbler are an intricate part of the vehicles "anti-theft system. If the ignition switch or tumbler is broken it will have to be replaced and the theft code relearned. When the key is turned in the tumbler, the switch reads the key code and sends the code to the BCM. The BCM verifies the code is correct and sends a start message to the ECM and allows the engine to start. With out that code verification, the engine will not start.

My key is stuck in the ignition of my 2000 ford focus

There is a hole in the plastic column cover on the bottom. This is the access to a spring loaded pin which keeps your keyswitch in the ignition hole. You may have a worn out key tumbler or the tumbler is loose in the housing and simply needs to be removed and reinserted to work again.

A drill bit or thin hex wrench needs to be poked into that mentioned bottom hole to release the tumbler from the housing with a gentle pull.

Took my ford focus to a dealer because key would not turn either way. They said it was the tumbler and would have to be replaced. They jusy called and said they installed new tumbler and reprogramed the...

The reason that the key wouldn't turn must have come from a malfunction of the ignition switch or the connecting rod, rather than the just the tumbler. Since the dash lights & gauges work now, at least part of the ignition switch is working, but apparently not the part that's engaged when the switch is turned to the "start" position.
By replacing just the tumbler, the dealership tech would have jiggled the connecting rod just enough to reseat it (and fix the jam that was causing the key to fail to turn in the tumbler), but didn't fix the real problem, which seems to be a worn out ignition switch or worn connecting/actuating rod.

Replace the ignition tumbler is the best way to repair your problem. You could try spraying a lubricant such as wd40 in the hole and try and lube up the pins inside. Good luck.

Steering wheel locked and ignition wont turn

Yes it does sound to me like the key is the problem.
the only other thing for a steering locking up would be the steering lock silenoid but that is activated by the brake pedal and the key has to be turned
if this is the orginal key it could be something else because the key and the tumblers inside the ingintion would wear down the same time together, but is the is a replacement key or back-up it will be the key because the tumblers would have been worn done by a different key.
try wiggling the key as you turn maybe you can get it to turn.
You will likely have to replace the ignition and key together.

The ignition key turns like normal but it does not do anything. I replaced the ignition switch and it does the same thing. When you turn the key it is like it freely turns like the tumblers are not turning

Take the switch back out and carefully inspect the mechanics of its operation. On my Focus, the lock turns a part in the back that operates the ignition. The Taurus may be different, but it still has to turn the ignition. It sounds like there is some kind of trouble with the engagement. Good Luck.
