A really good trick for locating vacuum leaks is to use a can of aerosol carburetor cleaner. The engine will run on this stuff, just like gasoline. Install the little red wand onto the nozzle and spray the carb clean onto each vacuum hose, in turn. If the hose is cracked, the carb cleaner will be sucked into the engine and burn. This will cause the engine to rev up slightly, while you are spraying onto a leaking component.
To check vacuum diaphrams, you need to purchase a hand vacuum pump, like the one shown in the web link below.

I prefer these to those crappy, all plastic units sold by MityVac. I've seen them even cheaper than the price in this link.
PS, If the vacuum hoses are dried out and show signs of cracking, it is best to change them all. Only change out one at a time, to avoid confusion.

If the vacuum lines are under the dash, it works best to check them using the hand vacuum pump mentioned before. On the dash, one of the controls (mode control) is a vacuum switch. There will be a vacuum connector attached to the rear of the switch. Remove the connector. Start the engine and one of the hoses should have vacuum. That is the source hose. Check all the other hoses using the vacuum pump to see if they will hold vacuum. If they leak, you must check the hose and whatever vacuum servo it goes to, to determine the source of the problem.

2002 Mustang GT must have a vaccum leak in the hose at the plenum and the manifold I am suspecting. I get a lean fuel air code reading after I just changed a 02 Sensor, and then codes 1130 and 1150 came...

The vaccum hose connects to the rear of the plenum and runs toward the passenger side firewall. There's a splice about 12" inches from the plenum so you won't have to replace the entire hose.

The idle on my mustang gt is going up and down when i go to stop without touching the throttle. it doesn't do it all the time but has been doing it often lately

Sounds like either you have a vaccum leak or the idle air control valve is acting a fool. I'd start by looking for a vaccum leak. This is easy to do. Take a can of carburetor cleaner and spray it around all the vaccum lines, where they are connected to something and on the ends of every hose. If you spray one line and your idle speed increases for a moment, you've found the leak. just replace the hose. Shouldn't cost more than $3. That's where i'd start. Sounds like you have a minor vaccum leak.

I have a'03 liberty sport...the lock on the back door keeps clicking off/on continuously and the window on the door opens...Why does this happen and what is the solution? My air bag light is on as well can...

Your vaccum line in central locking module has a leak that is as well connected with air bag system.I suggest take it to mechanic and check for leaks on vaccum system. If vaccum lines are not leaking, could be vaccum module.

95 mustang vac problem Ive been looking for a vac leak cause my ac will only blow out defrost I checked lines under dash No vac long story short I found the line was broke at the vaccum block I fixxed...

Does your control panel have cables working some of the doors below in duct work. Can you see any cables up under passenger side or drivers side. Those lines I think your talking about, will only get vacuum as needed to move an actuator(vacuum motor) , so I'm guessing that if the control isn't in the right position, then it won't route vacuum to that particular line. I have msn , but I never set up an account, it's just used by my kids, sorry. I always figured I type too slow to have a conversation on there, but maybe I'll consider it soon.

Check the vaccum line at the vacuum distribution block (to the right of the brake master cylinder). It's the smallest vacuum hose.

You have a vaccum leak on the mustang. Unsure of the Contour.. I believe it is the middle hose where the three fittings are (right in front of the driver seat in the engine compartment) Mustangs are notorious for vaccum leaks there
