First look at the back of each wheel and see if you have any brake fluid leaking. If not then you probably have air in the system and you need to bleed the brakes

No brake lights after changing rear end on 96 4 runner

Since you were just working in the general area. I would check all wiring connections underneath, and around the axle!
It's a common happening, bump a connector without realising and things happen!
Good luck

What does it mean when i have to pump the clutch to get it to work and it has fluid in it

If you have to pump the clutch to get it to work, it means that the clutch fluid needs replacing........the clutch fluid is exactly the same a s brake fluid and must be changed evry 2 years.

If it is not changed, then it breaks down into water and its other ingredients, the water boils off when it gets too hot, and it creates a spongy clutch pedal, that requires you to continuallly pump it to get to work.

I would suggest that you buy some new brake/clutch fluid and blled the clutch.

If you are unsure how to do this, get back and let me know and I will post a procedure for you !!!!!

To check the vacum pump.all you have to do is remove the pipe from the servo, and with the engine running that pipe should be sucking.place finger over the pipe and check. If its not sucking then check the pipe for cracks. If the pipe is ok then replace the pump

Just had my back brakes, rotos and sensor changed on my 2006 330I BMW and brake light and car lift light came on. Can't get it off. Help

Sounds like the sensor has defaulted.

Normally you would use a code reader to clear fault codes.

That is an option, but sometimes disconnecting the battery for a short period of time allows a reset of sensors upon re-connection.

If a shop did it, not a bad idea to call them and make them aware.

Plus they shouls offer to use their code reader to clear any faulty codes at no charge, being its vey likely associated with the work they just did.

If they don't, switch repair facilities.

Changing Brakes concern

Most brake pads have what they call squeak indicators. These indicators will start squeaking when your not applying the brakes when the pads get low.Otherwise the best way is to inspect the pads and see how much is left.
