I own a 2004 pontiac grandam. Recently the lights on my dashboard and my fog lights under the headlights wont turn on. They were working one night and then i heard a click and they wont come back on.

First, get the Owner Manual and search for the page that shows the location of the fuses in the fuse box (which should be under the hood - see the manual). There may be one single fuse that supplies the dashboard and the fog lights, or there may be a relay instead through a fuse. The relay may be bad or the fuse may be open. You need a small 12 VDC probe with a bulb (or a meter) to test the fuse, or a meter with a "Ohms" or resistance/continuity range to test the relay. The relay is easy to pull out (be sure to note down the body orientation) and check the coil. If okay, plug it back in correctly. Replacing the fuse is just a pull out (use a correct plastic fuse puller) and pushing in the replacement. But if it fails again, you may have a "short circuit" and will need the vehicle wiring diagrams to trace and find the short.

Dashboard lamps are very small and don't fail much, but are extremely hard to replace when the go bad. I did this once for my 1995 Buick Regal. Fog lamps are easier to replace since they are part of the body. So I suspect more of the blown fuse than a bad lamp.

2004 Pontiac Grand AM windshield wipers work but washer does not come on or pump fluid. Cannot hear pump running. Cannot find a reference to a fuse for the wiper pump. i have replaced pump.

Could be that the switch that activates the washer pump is not closing and that explains why the pump is not working. That has a separate switch from the wipers because you only activate it on demand.

Cigarette lighter on 2004 Grand Prix isn't working.

The lighter socket or the element.
Check the element for burn marks and the socket for debris blocking the contacts.

Cannot locate fuse for middle console & lighter

It should be in the fuse box inside the car. I don't know the exact location, but it should be marked on the fuse panel.

I can not locate the cigarette lighter fuse in any of the fuse panels. Will it be named under something else for a 2005 grandam? Everything else electrical still works

Radio and ciar light are on the same circuit
The element or the case to the lighter is at fault if the radio works
The elements windings can have an open which can be seen if burnt out.
The case you need to check the continuity to see if its ok
