Compressor and fans do not turn on until rev engine

I passed this question the first time I read it, so I will take a stab at it now.
The fans don't come on until the compressor has pumped the freon pressure up to say 150 or 200 psi. And the compressor clutch has to have voltage to engage the clutch.
I wonder if the clutch is going and needs 14 volts instead of 12 to engage ? Or the relay that powers the clutch ?
Speeding up the engine would increase voltage from the alternator.
This is assuming the serpentine belt is tight and everything else is working correctly.
I think I would swap the relay with another and put a meter on that circuit to the ac clutch to see what it takes to engage it.

Jump air compressor ac works replace relays same issue HONDA

the compressor may be low on freopn but, the fan problem is most likely the fan motor as it is the low temp fan and will run more often than both test see if you can switch the fan plugin to the other fan watch carefully that it does not get too hot as the second fan is a safety fan that works as high temp or when using the A\C

My ac compressor is not workin well

You need to have your pressues check at lower rpms it sounds like your a/c compressor doesn't have enough of a charge to remove the heat from the air but at higher rpms it can because higher rpms means higher flow and higher pressure.

I have a 1995 Acura Legend, air conditioner blower stopped workin

It means the blower fan is not running, look for wires that got knocked off, usually at the motor....

Good news is the AC sounds like it is working correctly, so this repair cost should be smaller. Apply external power to the fan terminal to see if it goes, if it does, problem is upstream, switch, resistors, etc.

But sounds like a fan. Test it. independently from the rest of the car

My 2006 chevy impala ac light keeps cutting off and on. When its on its coolin and when its off it just blows warm air. how do i fix this problem

Hello ,maybe i can help. There is a multiple system check to perform, but being as you are asking for help,on fix ya,I can only think you are with out ac gauges and other helpful tools. What we need to check first off is,under the hood, see if the ac compressor is turning when the problem presents it`s self(when the ac light goes off).If so,you may just need a little freon added to the system. If the ac compressor is turning when the ac light is off ,look and see if the cooling fan or fans are running. If the fan or fans are not running, then you have one out of three things happening, One is ,a cooling fan relay is not working,two-as simple as a fuse is blown, and finally,a high side pressure switch that cuts on the cooling fan,or fans has gone out.Of course the possibility of a ac compressor gone weak is also a problem to look at.You may still need a ac service tech to check it out if any of the three things I mentioned are not the problem.I hope this has helped you with your ac problem, and if I can help you any further let me know,,,,
