What the P2445 code means

The secondary air injection system is designed to pump outside air into the exhaust in order to help reduce harmful emissions. This trouble code indicates that the powertrain control module has detected a malfunction with this system on the bank 1 side of the engine.

What are the causes of the P2445 code?

The most common cause of this trouble code is a failed air injection pump. The air injection pump is designed with a check valve inside which only allows air to flow in one direction, preventing exhaust gases from escaping through the air pump and only allowing air to enter. When this check valve fails, moisture is able to get inside the air pump. During the winter months this moisture can freeze, causing the air pump to seize up and possibly break. Other possible causes of this issue would include damaged wiring or connectors associated with the air pump, blown fuses, or a broken serpentine belt

What does obd 1 code 25 and 26 mean?

Description:
System too Lean, Bank 1
Possible Causes:
- Intake/exhaust leak.
- Secondary air injection (AIR) system.
- Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
- Mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
- Fuel pressure/pump.
- Injector(s).
- Evaporation emission (EVAP) canister purge valve.
- Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
- Contaminated fuel.

EOBD II Error Code: 26
Fault Location:
System too Rich, Bank 1
Description:
- Evaporation emission (EVAP) canister purge valve .
- Fuel pressure.
- Injector(s).
- Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).

Secondary air injection system relay circuit malufunction with p0419 code

  • DTC P0419 - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Relay Control Circuit Bank 2


Some Toyota TSB there( T-SB-0029-08 Rev2 April 4, 2008 refer at Air Injection Control Driver); this repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

    MY TRUCK IS SHOWING THE CODE PO148 FUEL DELIVERY MALFUNCTION


    If you ran the truck very low or out of fuel this code will be set and MIL Lamp will illuminate, otherwise if everything is ok and truck runs fine it may be a sensor fault.
