I have a 1998 dodge caravan 3.3L fault codes p0500 p0700 p0720 p0715, how do I repair and replace sensors to pass smog test

Follow the links for each fault code.
P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
P0720 Output Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0715 sets when there is an error in the transmission's input speed sensor signal. On the front of the trans there is an input and output speed sensor that the trans controller looks at for shifting control.

While the code could have set because of a wiring or connection problem, it's almost surely the sensor. Input speed sensor failures are not uncommon.

The input speed sensor is mounted right on the front of the trans directly under where the cooler lines attach. It threads directly in and has a 1" hex for a socket for removal. If the wiring and connection look visibly ok then I would recommend replacing the sensor

Why would my ABS light be on???

Your ABS sensors are in the wheel hubs of the car. Who ever changed the hubs, either didn't place the sensor back correctly, or damaged the sensor when replacing the hub.

When you replace 2001 kia sportage vacuum hubs with manual, it it just the front hubs that get replaced?

If it is a rear wheel drive predominately then yes you replace the front vac hubs only as the rear is constantly driving, is it a east west motor or north south , that will tell you a lot

I have a Suzuki Sx4 2008, the engine light is on and the problem code is P-0500, I just replaced the left-front bearing 2 days ago, and also the ABS light is on, could tell me what the problem is and how I...

P0500 is a problem with the vehicle speed sensor. The ABS light on is also caused by this P0500 code.

Get the vehicle speed sensor checked, see if the wiring is causing the problem (frayed). If there is no problem with wiring, try replacing the vehicle speed sensor.

My kia sportage 2001 is having issues with the froont hubs engaging,a mechanic told me it was the actuator since the front tires do spin when it is in the air,any suggestions ?

I had the opposite problem. My front hubs would not engage at all. My mechanic said it is common for the hoses or the actuators to break/crack with age through wear and tear. In my case, instead of replacing the vacuum hoses, I just switched over to manual hubs. Less convenient, but no problems since.

1998 ford ranger 4x4 Front Axle hubs will not engage

I found a website that explaned that you can remove the hub and dust cover, inside is a spring which holds the hub out, removing this spring and replacing the rubber dust cover and hub will lock your front hubs in continious. as is done on later models, This has worked for my 98 4wd
