SOURCE: VIbration in AC/HEATER fan

I've had mice in my Nissan PU and actually caught one in a trap set on the floorboard; so I know they can get inside. They also knocked some of the fiberglass insulation into the blower motor so it vibrated as it was no longer balanced. You could have a dead one in your blower. Mine was easily accessible from under the passenger side under the dash. Three screws and the motor dropped so I could clean out the fiberglass.

SOURCE: Ac compressor will not engage when ac is on.

Check A/C compressor relay. When you say it seems to be full of gas(freon) have you actually put a pressure gauge on the system? If the pressure is too low, the compressor will not engage. If the compressor relay is functioning, check for power at the compressor clutch. If it has power to it and it still is not engaging, the A/C clutch may need replacing. It is usually almost as economical to replace the complete compressor with clutch installed than to just purchase a clutch. Keep in mind if you replace the compressor you should also replace the receiver/dryer also referred to as the accumulator.

my car has done the same thing. . I have replaced the tensioner and belt twice now and it will start it again within a couple weeks of replacement. Had it looked at again and there is nothing wrong with it! just an embarrassing noise. dont replace it, its a waste of money.

Sounds like the blower resistor module needs to be replaced. Could also be the switch.

Iam getting a delay of a few seconds whenever i shift between neutral and drive or neutral and reverse on my 2007 nissan tiida cvt transmission.

Have the oil changed and the filter checked . I have a Mitsubishi lancer and it is in good nick but If I apply power before the shift happens it chirps the tyres . have the bands and clutch pack adjusted Run fault codes to check for faulty solenoids and servos.

Heat delayed

heat not blowing or not getting hot? if it's not blowing it may be the blower motor going out but if its just taking a while to get hot it could be the duct exchanger which could be a vaccume leak or you could be low on engine coolant, if the engine coolant is low the heater core doesn't get enough coolant to warm the air that passes thru it.

2007 Nissan Altima air conditioner & heater takes a long time to come on

Your Air Conditioner might be low on refrigerant. If the AC doesn't cool down and had signs where it took a while to start cooling, you likely have a slow leak. It could be that an O ring wore out and started leaking, or a hose developed a leak. Rubber components tend to be the first parts that wear out over a period of time. A shop can confirm if your 134A refrigerant leaked out of the system.

Heat takes10 to 15 minutes to kick on when first started

your vehicle needs to heat up to operating temp before the thermostat opens and warm coolant then flows to the heater core. and sometimes, the ac will not b as cool if at idle or sitting still, due to low rpms

Nissan 2002 ac system does not work on hot setting but it only works on the cold setting. what might the problem be?

AC is only the cold half of the thermostat, if you want heat to come out turn off the AC and turn the heat on, if there is a problem it could be the thermostat is stuck open or closed which could possibly needs replaced and when you do that you would also need coolant

Temperature control when turned slight above 60 turns the heat on, any answers. 2005 nissan altima.

there's a few possibilities with this one....

1) it could be that your air blend door is stuck or the gear that controls it is broken.

2) it could be a problem with coolant leaking or a coroded cooling core that causes its efficiency to drop to the point where when under load, the engine will heat the air in the AC system to only blow hot air.

The solution for the first problem is an relatively cheap fix. there is a service bulletin for it with the part number and how to check if its the problem on the nissan forums at nissanclub.

The second problem is rather costly and involves some wrenching,.... you can also find information on that on the forums.

Hope that shed some light on it, and best of luck.

AC/Defroster issue

On most vehicles the AC comes on when the defrost is on to keep AC compressor/clutch from seizing up from non use during winter months.
