The governor pressure sensor and solenoid are inside the transmission . remove transmission pan and filter they are on the passenger side solenoid is round and its holding bracket retains the pressure sensor in the valve body. 2 # 20 torx screws

They are not easy to get to. They are were the engine and transmission mates together. 2 bolts to remove. You cant reach them by hand. Takes a long extension and ratchet. This is the easy part. Once loose and out, you have to get access to the plug. The sensor is at the drivers side, upper part of the transmission. The plug is on the passengers side. Doing this on a lift sucks, on the ground really sucks. Be prepared to have scratches, cuts and blood running down your arm. BTW, Both bolts have to go back in, if not, be prepared to do it again.
Remove the Transmission pan. It is the larger one of the 4 solenoids, it is the rearward one of the set of solenoids. Usually a black color and round like a small pepper shaker. If you are replacing this one, you really should replace them all. This governor pressure sensor, when if fails, usually causes the transmission to start off in 2nd gear and then upshift to other gears is delayed and harsh.

Your coolant sensor may be stuck in advanced timing mode. Change it & the engine will start easy in cold & warm weather. The sensor is located near the thermostat housing. Remove the electrical connector & unscrew the sensor. Replace but do not over tighten, 5ft. lbs. Top off any antifreese loss. Good luck!

sensor is above rearside of transaxle case, held in place by one bolt just above diff area, easy to replace, make sure new one comes with .030" spacer. GOOD LUCK> RDJRP
it is located below the fuel injection pump in timing gear housing..not easy to get at..1 bolt and electrical connector..goes in from behind into housing..injector pump is unit with all the fuel lines coming out of it..have replaced these sensors before
