Located driver side before catalytic converter.

With a good scanner with graphic these are easy to check. They can be difficult to remove.

Crankshaft sensor located on tranmission 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2 eng v8

They are not easy to get to. They are were the engine and transmission mates together. 2 bolts to remove. You cant reach them by hand. Takes a long extension and ratchet. This is the easy part. Once loose and out, you have to get access to the plug. The sensor is at the drivers side, upper part of the transmission. The plug is on the passengers side. Doing this on a lift sucks, on the ground really sucks. Be prepared to have scratches, cuts and blood running down your arm. BTW, Both bolts have to go back in, if not, be prepared to do it again.

2001 dodge 1500 4x4 governor pressre sensor

Remove the Transmission pan. It is the larger one of the 4 solenoids, it is the rearward one of the set of solenoids. Usually a black color and round like a small pepper shaker. If you are replacing this one, you really should replace them all. This governor pressure sensor, when if fails, usually causes the transmission to start off in 2nd gear and then upshift to other gears is delayed and harsh.

2001 Dodge Stratus, new battery, turns over well and runs fine in temperatures above 20 Degrees. Below that, the motor spins but the car does not start until everything warms up. The antifreez/coolent is...

Your coolant sensor may be stuck in advanced timing mode. Change it & the engine will start easy in cold & warm weather. The sensor is located near the thermostat housing. Remove the electrical connector & unscrew the sensor. Replace but do not over tighten, 5ft. lbs. Top off any antifreese loss. Good luck!
