Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Internal pressure loss when warm??? you mean it wont go? at all? or it wont shift? thats a stickler to diagnose when you cant see smell or touch it...tow it down to the trans man. could be anywhere in the hydraulic circuit, convertor? seal ring ? cracked drum? or if it wont upshift, could be sticking governor? modulator, mod supply line, worn clutches, since we dont know the year, we dont know if its electronic, sometimes sensor input can change with temp. and manual valve position must be accurately reported to the pcm. i can safely bet you dont have test equipment for that. so i must say see the trans man

You should have a Tranny Cooler on this Truck. Look on the Front of the Radiator through the Grill. Do you see a Smaller Radiator attached to the Large one? If so, This needs to be Replaced Thus Fixing the Overheating Problem.
