Traction control? i bet its under warranty. call the dealer service dept to get their advice. you can inspect the connections around the area you were working in,and see if a cancel button is used on your model. otherwise, verify fuses are good and run codes. read the owners guide on that option for yours, see if that light is telling you its shut off or turned on. i had one once where the lite came on, and after researching, i found a connector unplugged. no explaination to this day how it was caused

sounds like a dead battery , try a jump start ,if it starts have the alternator charge rate checked as if low may have been the cause of the battery going flat, then recharge the battery with a drive of about 20 miles

Reset srs light after replacing seatbelt

To reset the SRS light on an Acura Integra, pull down the SRS service connector. Unplug this connector so you have access to jump the harness. Start with the ignition OFF. Jump the SRS plug. Turn the ignition ON. The SRS light will come on then off.------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lights come on and radio and air works but there is only a click when I try to start it.Jumper cables did not work.

Dead battery

You can not jump a dead battery ,
dangerous practice.

The click is the starter solenoid

If the battery turns out not to
be the issue,then the solenoid
or the starter

Car would not start. Had to jump it, when it finally started the engine light, vcs off, and vcs trac lights came on and stayed on. I just paid the dealership almost $150 for the brake light issue. Any...

try disconnecting the battery at the negative terminal for about a minute and reconnect if the codes were set from the dead battery the lights will not come back on, if they come back on you will have to get the vehicle looked at.

Trac off and check engine light for lexus es 300 check engine & trac control off lights & engine stutters while revving in park. Engine seems fine in drive... Reset lights without them returning...

A week ago, on my Lexus ES 300 (2001), "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights came on. This coincided with me filling the gas tank to the brim to round the dollar to be paid. I cleaned the gas tank cap and the tank opening. However, both lights persisted. On the same day, when I turned on the car again, there was a hesitance, a stuttering to come on. Both "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights were still on.

The next day, the car wouldn't come on at all. It sounded as the battery was dead. I couldn't even jump start the car. So, I got a new battery from Costco ($59) and put it in. It took 15-20 seconds of cranking to get the car started. Once it was started, the engine sounded fine and the RPM normal. The "Check Engine" light was off. However, the "Trac Off" was still on. I cleaned the gas tank cap one more time.

The next morning, when I turned the car on, there was no problems. It came on instantly as it used to be, didn't have any warning lights, and drove smoothly.

Brand new 08 Ford Sport Trac (2 hr old) - won't start

Sounds like the battery may be bad. You could remove it and take it to a mechanic or parts store and have them test it for you. Mechanic might charge you 15bucks or so. Most parts stores will test it for free and gladly sell you a new one.
