Question about 2005 Mazda 3

1 Answer

Going into first while getting on the clutch squeaking noise.

I have a 2005 Mazda 3i with around 89k on it, While I am going into either first or second gear while letting off the clutch there is a squeaking noise, it almost sounds as if I am doing a slight burn-out (when I know I am not), I havnt taken it into a shop yet, I heard that there may be a TSB out on the clutch pedal assembly, yet when I called the dealer they said they can't tell me that information.

Clutch is starting to slip. Will need to be replaced. Better to do before it fails, causes alot of damage.

I have a Mazda 6 Sport 2009 and after about 15 mins driving I get a squeaking noise from the engine compartment every time I press the clutch. Anybody any ideas?

Throw-out bearing, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, an angry mouse (probably not). Start with the first three. First, though, I would find an assistant who could help you narrow down where exactly the squeaking is coming from. One person presses on the clutch while the other listens in the engine compartment.

Mazda protege makes a squeaking noise when I start driving?

If your Mazda Tribute's engine has a rumbling noise when you start it, this is most likely from the drive belt. You will need to replace it.

Squeak coming from clutch right at the joint to the plate, there are 2 rubber boots here can this be greased to eliminate the noise-1999 mazda 323

I will assume you are talking about the ****** clutch,i dont think they made a 1999 mazda 323 unless in another country but anyway the noise you are hearing sounds like the pressure plate throwout bearing, this means the bearing is going bad, you must be careful as the grease will get thrown around and end up on clutch plate and cause slipping. if you can you can try spraying a little white lube into the bearing, and on ****** housing to help it slide better also. let me show you a picture of it and where to lube the bearing if theres room. sometimes the boot can be removed and there room to get to bearing, hope this helps.johnjohn2_140.jpg

Squeaking noise when you turn the steering wheel.

The squeaking usually indicates that the belt that drives your power steering pump, is needing to be replaced. If you don't have experience in changing this out, any automotive repair shop would be more than happy to help you change out the belts.

2004 Mazda 3i 2.0L -- Intake Manifold

I have had the same problem at almost exaclty the same milage. 2004 Mazda 3 3 door hatchback (5 door sedan). I was told by the service manager that there is a valve in the manifold that fails and starts flapping, sounded just like a collapsed lifter. I think this should be covered under warranty. If not the mfg warranty the emissions? .. good luck.
