Question about 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan

1 Answer

My tire pressure signal goes off on the dashboard, but I had it checked and the pressure is fine. This has been going on for a couple months, but more recently since the temperature has gone up outside when it reaches 85 degrees it goes off and everything electrical in my car as in the signal light, window wipers, radio, etc shuts off and doesn't work and sometimes my car even shuts down will in drive. I've attempted to have it fixed 4 times and no one has a solution. any ideas what it could be ??

Then you may have a defective sensor.

SOURCE: I have a 99 1.8t Passat with multiple electrical failures

The ignition switch is faulty, typically the contacts burn for the 501 power supply circuit. That is the circuit that provides main power to head lights, wipers blower motor and a few other accessories.

SOURCE: New battery in 03 VW Passat, engine turns but will not start.

Possible flooding, cold weather can freez open injectors causing them to leak into the cylinders. Press the gass pedal all the way to the floor and crank the engine for no more than 60 seconds. The cylinders will clear themselves allowing proper mix of air/fuel and should start easy. If that does not solve please specify if the engine is 1.8l or 2.8l.

The tire pressure display is still on my dash even though I put air in my tires. How can I remove it?

If your tire pressures are all ok and the light is still on the dashboard, either one of two things is wrong ( assuming your tire pressure gauge is giving you correct data)

1 - A battery or one of the tire sensors (4) in a tire is mis functioning

2 - Something wrong with car electronic monitoring system.

Check with Hyundai if there is some sort of "reset" that you can perform. On my 2011 Sonata once I correct the pressure the light goes off. U might have to go to the dealer. Just hope your dealer is better than mine.

You need to go to a tire shop to check the tire transmitters. If the transmitters are good, then 1 of your pickup sensors is not reading correctly.

Low tire pressure light comes on once temperature outside dropped. Had checked..tire pressure fine. How do I reset to make indicator light go away?

What was the pressure.? the tire pressure specification should be on the drivers door jamb. It needs to be set cold. The light will go off when each tire signals that it has the proper pressure.

There is a light on my toyota corolla dashboard with two arrows head meeting each other"

That's for your tire pressure on your car (TPMS). Most times when the tire pressure goes below 25psi, the light on your dash goes on.
You may have a nail in your tire. Or, they are just low.
Air them up to 35psi and the light should go out. Sometimes, there is a pressure senor in the spare tire. To be safe, check the air in the spare tire also.
