go to http://www.extendedgmwarranty.com/owners-manual/chevrolet/2006-Chevrolet-HHR.pdf if you have adobe reader you will see a picture in pdf format. look at the letter F on the picture. that is where your dipstick is located. now go to your car and look for it by following this picture. good luck

It would help if knew if it was a manual or a auto as this car is a corsa here looking at the picture ,if a auto it could have a little rubber/plastic cover at the bottom that holds the dipstick although later models do not have a dipstick in common with most modern cars but a 95 i would expect to find one
