No they will not replace the engine cradle. They will lead you to a newer vehicle. My shop has had several come in with bad cradles and Nissan will not replace it. You can order an aftermarket kit to "bolt in" with a bit of work

Engine cradle rust

If you mean front end sub frame then the best and most reliable to repair it is to replace it with a good one from the wreckers.. Look for a car that has been rear ended.

Rear seat removal

Unfortunately there is no easy fix for your problem. You must remove the engine assembly to access the rear main seal. To remove the engine you must drop the engine, trans, suspension, cradle assembly. Then separate the engine from the trans to get to the seal. Then put is all back together. The book gives over 40 hours for this job.

Frame that holds the engine etc... is rusted at both ends, does it need to be replaced?

This is something a trained mechanic needs to see. There were also potential problems with some mounting washers on certain models.

The part you are referring to is the "engine cradle" Most Salvage yards cut this part off the Van to drop the engine and trans. If you can find a Van with this part intact, from a vehicle that has not seen any Salt. it can be good.

IF welding can be done to your present "engine cradle" it would be less work. Look and see if your part also supports the Wheels and Suspension. I think it does, and all of those parts would need to be disconnected in a swap and realigned.

If you can get your part welded, its in a place that does not show and if properly done will maintain your Chassis alignment. Old school mechanics say you can not Weld a frame. Your "cradle" is different from a Full frame. There are also different Welding machines now than 50 years ago. Good Luck on your repair.

There is a lot of rust on the engine, would it

Rust can be caused by leaving a car outside in the snow all winter, it can be caused by driving in he snow when they use salt on the roard andif the car has been on the coast it will rust. if there is rust inside the engine it may be due to a bad water pumps or a bad head gasket, my advise to you is walk away from it.

Front sway bar on a 2000 monte carlo

Be very carefull because there are lines and wires that can be broken if the engine is lowered too far. Disconect the battery. Set the parking brake and chock the rear tire.
Put the car on jack stands and take off one of the tires. Put the jack under the rear of the engine cradle. You have to loosen the steering column set screw at the steering rack and loosen the two front bolts that hold the engine cradle to the chassis. Take the two rear cradle bolts almost all the way off and lower the cradle until you can wiggle the sway bar out. The steering will disconnect.
Reverse the procedure to put everything back where it belongs. The steering shaft is a "D" shape so it only goes on the rack one way. Tighten the set screw and torque the engine cradle to the required specification. 133 ft. lb.
IMPORTANT -- Take the car to an alignment shop and have at least the front aligned. The front suspension is attached to the cradle and can be moved out of alignment.
Complete instructions are found in Haynes Manual p/n 24048, chapter 10.
