Question about 1999 Saturn Lw 4dr Wagon
We had this problem back in the '80s with Honda Civic engines. Simply put; the original gasket was still stuck on the base. Because of the position of the filter, you could not tell until you stuck a pick into the base. If the seal is still there, you can feel it, dig it out and solve the problem.
