Hi
at the rear of the s wheel there will either be inset screws or bolts to loosen...or you may well have to turn wheel 90 degrees and locate a small opening. With battery disconnected totally...put a small lever in and push the airbag tangs away from the column. once one side is away, do the same to the other side. It fiddly but refitting is a doddle.
*****Note...airbags may require reprogramming and crash data removed ir reset so....be warned!
cheers
Roger

SOURCE: Turning off airbag

all you have to do is open your passenger door and on the dash by the ac, there is a little hole where you can insert your car key and turn in where it will then turn the passenger airbag off. I have never had to remove anything to turn it off, all you have to do is turn in with your key!!!

SOURCE: i have a 2003 bmw 530i blower is not working

I would first check the fuse for the blower. A common problem is either the blower resistor or the blower motor. The resistor is located behind the carpet trim that runs along the center console. You will need to remove the black trim cover under the glove box. reove the screw at the front of the carpet trim.Behind the trim toward the front of the a/c box you should see a trapazoid shaped connector. That is where the blower resistor is.

2009 bmw x6 :collision deployed passenger airbag on dashboard. Can i replace the airbag without changing/replacing the dasboard?

the dash pad -upper section to windshield shouldnt have to be unless damaged by deployment the other 3 sections -airbag location the part in line with the ducting and the knee area usually are damaged during deployment and unless you have been trained ir have working knowledge if the air bag system would have a certified trusted auto body shop survey the damage and advise if any under dash damage is present --they can also show a dash break down diagram as well as correctly installing replacement airbag

Airbags have deployed. Car will not crank

What is the reason for the deployment of the airbags , did you hit the car or they open with no reason. If you hit the car there is fail safe mechanism to stop the engine automatically.

Where are the airbag sensors located in a 2003 honda accord?

The sensor is usually encased in a pnuematic piston located in the front bumper. You ran over a curb? You hit the bumper, it deployed.

Bmw 5 series 2.3L 2000 england how do i remove airbags from drivers side. i was told i would need a torx 30 to remove two bolts from behind steering wheel. my steering is a m5 wheel, and also how would...

to disable them, unplug the plugs after the battery has been disconnected for 2 minutes to avoid deployment. if you physically want to remove them, that is different, the one on the passenger side is part of the dash,a thin plastic line ruptures upon deployment and the airbag inflates.
the drivers airbag is disabled by the yellow connector at the bottom of the steering column

BMW 318i SE Airbag light

something in the airbag system is at fault. it could be the airbag(s) itself or any of the sensors that detect a crash to deploy the airbag. i would really take it into BMW and have it checked & repaired. the airbag(s) will not deploy with this light on so your safety is at risk if you are ever in an accident..
