1993 Chevy C1500 4.3L V6 TBI starts but dies at idle after warming up.

Low pressure from fuel pump, when the pump is cold the pressure increases, as it warms up the pressure drops (this happens in a pump that is going out) the normal pressure should be at 40 with the key on and engine not running, when started the pressure should stay around 36, any less it won't idle and may run as long as you hold the pedal down. The injectors are opened electronicaly, so as long as there is fuel flow the engine gets fuel to run.So check the fuel pump, soundslike you need a new one

Why does my 93 Caravan Start fine and run great till it warms up then dies and wont start untill it cools back down.

I had the same problem a few years ago and it was the coil pack breaking down. If it starts missing before it dies id get a new coil pack. Before u buy a coil pack you need to get it warm again and just before it dies look underneath the vehicle to see if the catalytic converter is starting to get hot, if it is hot and usually getting red hot, its stopped up.It will fool you in to thinking that the coil is bad.

280zx turbo dies after it warms up

It is most likely you ignition control module, thats what is was with mine. It is located on the ignition coil not the distributor as in some zcar models. I bought mine for about 160 bucks, but before you go out and purchase one i would try cleaning the connection if it is corroded. If it is not corroded then you really cannot clean it and need a new one.

have the ignition control module checked, also have the crankshaft sensor checked they both could cause this problem the more common of the two is the ignition control module under the coil packs.

If your not getting any codes or haven't had it checked for codes, they will do it free at most bigger autoparts stores now. Have you ever used quickstart, or WD-40 to try to make it fire when it quits?

Missing out and dies when warm

reach to the underside of your egr valve and feel to see if the diaphragm moves as it warms up. if not you may need to replace it. be careful not to bur yourself though, the engine and egr can get very hot very quickly
