GMC not starting first try. replaced starter. spark plugs, fuel filter. it turns over but doesnt start, second try turns over and starts no problem. turn off and back on, starts no problem. turn off and let set an hour it has trouble again. could it be fuel pump or injectors?

Yes on the fuel pump, sounds like the system is bleeding off the fuel pressure, could also be the regulator.
