Get a diagram from a dealer parts dept. You need to replace an actuator motor that operates the drivers side.

sounds like a trap not working or a motor mal fuction on the trap some doors have electric motors instead of vacume to open and close so you have to check on the pass side what opens and closes when in operation you can take the motor off and leave it pluged to test to see what it does you can get a new after market cheaper than the dealer

2002 mercury sable ac not blowing but heater works any ideas?

Could be a blender door issue. What a blender door does is mix the cold air from the AC with the hot air from the heater core. If you put the switch ALL THE WAY to hot, the blender door (usually an actuator) pushes the door up and allows only air passing thru the heater core to enter the cabin. If you push all the way to cold, it only allows air from the AC. If you put halfway, it mixes/blends the air...

Blend door stuck on heater position and driver side blowing hot air while pass side blows cold air. How do I switch driver side blend door back to ac mode?

I had this exact problem in a 2000 and it ended up being the air filter (engine compartment, pasenger side cowl)-all I did was replace it and both sides worked properly-you could try removing it and see if that solves it, if not I would think either the climate controller has a problem (vacuum line?) or maybe the blend door itself needs to be adjusted-hope this helps

I have the daul air conditioner and the driver side blows cool air, but the passager side blow hot air even if its on cool....help!

In the dash there are multiple "Mode Doors" that direct the flow of air in the dash for your AC. A duel zone system takes it further than that because it has doors for each zone.

Most likely, the temperature mode door for the passenger side isn't working properly because of a bad motor or other issue. There is a service bulletin on late model Chevrolet trucks that states as the motors age, they begin to work outside of the specified range the computer expects. As a result, they hang because the computer doesn't register them working correctly (out of range). It is recommended you have the vehicle software flashed to the latest configuration prior to diagnosing this issue as the new software takes the motor wear into account.

The control for the AC/Heater door isn't working. To have AC the door has to close so that the hot air is not being blown into the car. When this door is closed it allows the cool air to pass through. This is either controled by vacuum or a ele. switch

The air doors are controlled by actuators that on of them or so may need replacing.
