SOURCE: Start car everything ok. all

You need to have the entire circuit checked which flows through the mains switch. It seems that upon starting when all circuits are OK, there is a switch/relay/connection failure breaks the circuits described .
Now since the ignition system gets the supply the engine works on.
So trace the INPUT voltage to the mains switch, check the output to the secondary circuits, check them one by one, if they fail to output LOOP A WIRE and if the circuit is established then the mains switch is the suspect.
Also check the sub - relays in the relay box as it can fail after contact, check each output to find the missing voltage. Easy way is to use a test lamp of 12 Volts and trace if usingg a multimter becomes difficult as the visual indication makes if easy to touch and proceed to find the open link or switch.

Its you're ac compressor and its getting hot and sending an over load to the electrical system and shutting the car down because it has safety relays to keep from burning you're coils up you can try replacing ac relay but it will most likely just fix it temperarly where if you replace the ac relay & the commpresor you will not have any more problems and you should take to a dealer and have electrical system checked to make sure you haven't burned out Any other relays good luck

Interior lights not working

Sounds like you have a bad fuse, and or maybe a bad relay in your dash panels. Start by looking up the fuses that affect your sunroof, then work out to the other issues. On my Ford, there is a bad relay that affects my power windows, my radio, and my interior lights. Sometimes more than one fuse is related to a system, so check all the fuses before trying relays.

How do I get an AC compressor to start if the refrigerant level is very low?

Jump the relay w a paper clip or a stand of wire. Are u sure your Freon is low. there are other reasons the compressor wont engage. Too much Freon can cause damage too!

Ac compressor good but wont start

You must have a leak, the compressor will not run if the system is low on charge, the charge carries the oil to lube the parts of the system. Also do an electrical jumper of the compressor cycling/pressure sensing switch.

You may want to try pulling connections off BCM (body control module) and cleaning them with contact spray cleaner or similar & re-installing. Sometimes you'll get lucky & this will cure it, without replacing BCM.70846a5.gif

It's probably a ground issue ,looking at wiring diagrams to see what these all have in common would be the first place to start ! Do you know anything about automotive electrical systems an circuits ? How to read a wiring diagram ? You can find free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click body & accessories , then under subsystem click on the thing's your having problems with ,like wiper / washers . Then click the search button ,then the blue links . In the first diagram you will see a couple of relays for the wipers ,, plus they are located in the intergrated power module . Also in that box you will see the front control module . These are all computer controlled systems . Having a scan tool that can check codes in this modules would be a first step to take . If no codes are present , checking power and ground circuits for the problem systems . Do you know how to trouble shoot automotive electrical circuit's ?

Having a repair manual from alldata would be a good thing to have , it would show all ground locations . Also how to take thing's apart to get at them . Some grounds maybe behind the insturment panel or behind kick panels etc.... This would show all that !

I believe you have a leak in your AC system. You will need to do a leak test, stop the leak and refill your system with refrigerant. You can buy the items to do this repair at most automotive stores. (you may not have a leak, you might just have to recharge the system with new refrigerant)

90% probability you gave a ground wire issue at your fuse/relay panel. Most of the relays work off the same ground wires and you have relays for a majority of those "gone crazy" items.
