2006 Mustang not holding any water...

The car is literally not holding any water. Parked the car and steam came shooting out from under the hood. Opened the hood, and it looked as if something exploded and water was flung everywhere. Tried pouring water into the car, and it just came pouring out. Tried replacing the thermostat and its housing, but the problem is still persisting....

My 99 Jeep grand cherokee coolant boiling/steam.

This could be a lot of things. If you dont use the right mix of coolant and water it can overheat. The raidiator cap might be bad, the fans might not be working, the thermostat might be stuck, the raidiator might be gummed up with deposits. The big worry now is whether or not you have a blown head gasket or warped the head.

I have a 2006 ford mustang and the radio sound quit. The cd sound is fine, could a leak in the passenger side dash cause this problem?

I had the same problem when i had a leak on the passenger side dash. my radio went out. under the hood at the top you will have to remove the wipers and plastic cowling. under that is a drainage area with a rubber gromit for the water to feed out. if it is plugged just use your hand to remove any debris in the way. it will drain fine then. after the leak is stopped reset the radio. do this by either disconnecting the battery for a few minutes or disconnecting the switches under the passenger dash on the right side wall

I have a 2001 Ford Ka, after a brief drive in the rain, when I parked up I noticed what looked like steam/smoke coming from the front centre of the hood. I had a look and it seemed to be coming from the...

Would guess there is a high liklihood that you splashed some water off of the road onto a hot engine, hot exhaust, etc. Keep an eye on it for a day or two, but if you don't see the steam on a dry day, and your coolant level is stable, relax.

Severe Over-heating

Hi there. I had a lincoln towncar around the same year do the same thing and it was the waterpump. I doubt its just the gasket since it is overheating all the time now. The pump on mine was for the 5.0(302) it was 28 dollars but it was not real easy to change as far as waterpumps go. I would get a hayes or chiltons manual if your not real farmiliar with these before attempting to change it.
