codes po711 andp0713 refer to transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor ---range /performance problem and high input===causes --wiring--TFT sensor ---ECM/TCM and wiring short to positive --TFT sensor ECM/TCM

Replace the TFT and have a check done on the TCM as it is what decides the OD selection process. Check the condition of the oil and oil level and change if not bright cherry red

Po711 chevy duramax 3500 code

Hi Danial, Overheating is usually something to do with the cooling system, but can be caused by a few other problems. I would check the usual problems first, such as the thermostat the radiator pressure cap, water pump and the cooling fan operation. Also check for any sins of leakage. It is a good idea to have the cooling system pressure tested at a workshop, just in case the leakage is only evident when the system has reached operating temperature. Unless the engine has been seized it would be very doubtful that a con rod has been bent, which is the rod I believe you're referring to? Regards John

Code U0000 The problem is with a Hyundia Sonata 2.5 L V6 P0711 the engine starts and runs for two seconds and then p2300 shuts off. The fuel pump works,...

there is no factory code uoooo, if you took it to auto zone or pep boys they used a generic scan tool, however po711 is a transmission code, sounds like a bad cranksensor, or a camsensor fault, save yourself alot of money dont throw parts at it, take it to the dealer, they know the product, and have the factory scan tool,

Po711 code

This DTC code is set when the ATF temperature output voltage is lower than a value generated by thermistor resistance, in a normal operating range, for approximately 1 second or longer. The TCM regards the ATF temperature as fixed at a value of 80 °C(176°F). Solution: Eliminate wiring as the cause. Once you've done that, Recommend you replace the sensor. Otherwise, take the vehicle in to a Hyundai Shop and pay the diagnostic fee. They'll tell you what the problem is and the cost to repair it (parts, labor, & tax).

Problem code po711. what is this? Will not let car complete the inspection for North Carolina.

This code is set by the TFT, that is the tranmission fluid temperature sensor, have you towed anything lately that might have overheated the trans? If not erase the code and drive it, it may be a fluke.
