Question about 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan
The check engine light came on after a trip. A friend suggested disconnecting the battery. So I did and then light went out for almost 1 year and now back on again. I checked to see what the code was and it now comes back as p1684....so how do i turn it off? And what is the real problem given that the light was on before I disconnected the battery?
P1684 means the battery was disconnected within the last 50 starts!!
this means that the light should go off, if it continues to set that same code i believe it's because the battery voltage is too low!!
so buy a new battery and that should fix your problem!!:-)
