The signal is connected to the light switch.most likely you need signal switch.but sometimes lose ground will do the same thing.inspect all the ground in the engine compartment.

Faulty turn signals

You might have a flasher in the wrong spot. It would be on the fuse panel. A little round silver tube about 1/2 long. Its probably bad. Mike. Rate 100% please.

So other possible faults you may want to look at include: light control switch, headlight dimmer switch, and of course your bulbs if you haven't done so.

Was driving my 1999 toyota camery home and it just cut out , lights ect still work , will turn over but wont start

Stop trying to start it. Have someone turn the the engine over, while you look inside the valve cover through the oil filler. W/ flashlight see if rocker arms are moving if not timing belt is broken.

open the trunk lid and check the wiring in the loom along the driver side hinge. it may be necessary to peel back some of the loom , but you will probably find a broken or chafed wire in this section, if not check all the ground wires between the brake and backup lights.

1993 jeep grand cherokee limited no running lights/tail lights.

Id look at the headlight switch and do some voltage tests to see whats coming out of there. Pay close attention to any wires which look like someone was in there already.People can mess stuff up faster and better than the vehicle can by itself!
