Question about 2005 Buick Rendezvous
Need to know if its the head gasket or IM gasket causing the overheating. read this motor(3.4L GM) is known for gaskets (head and Intake) problems..how do you know which one it is....no oil and water mixing right now..when motor runs antifreeze is pushed back through radiator or overflow..tried to block test but fluid keeps getting in tool...
Somebody been using tap water in their radiator? The vehicle is old enough to have a lot of accumulated rust and crud in the Radiator which, depending on relative water quality and location of water pump could over pressure the system and have it squirting into overflow. If the threads of the plug have antifreeze on them it's coming from the OUTSIDE not the inside.
