Question about Cars & Trucks
This may sound funny, but did the car get tapped in the rear? Fords and Lincolns have a fuel cutoff switch on them. The reset is in the rear passenger compartment. look in the owners manual. Might fix it?

just press the button to reset it. Per your owner manual. Should only trip in an accident.
WHen you turn on the key, can you hear the fuel pump run for 5 seconds. The pump is in the fuel tank. listen there while someone turns the key on. report back.

In older cars a relay or flasher switch was used for signals and hazards. These were round and typicly located in the fuse box under the drivers dash. Your car will probably just have a relay controled by the computer. The relay will be in the drivers fuse box. The turn silgnal switch may also be your problem. I hope this informaiton helps.
