SOURCE: location of colour code on 2003 toyota rav 4 chassis/body

Toyota paint codes are can usually be found either under the hood or on the passenger/drivers side door jamb. Most Toyota paint codes are 3 digits long.
If you can't find your color code on the car your local Toyota dealership (parts department) will be able to tell you your code from your registration or chasis number...
Good luck..i hope this helps, please rate me a fixya.

SOURCE: 1997 pontiac grand prix se has code po401. I

Check for

vacuum leaks on intake manifold,

the air tube between the air filter.

intake manifold vacuum hose.

clean throttle plate with Berryman carburator cleaner

SEE sample picture HERE

Also remove carbon built up behind the EGR valve and the EGR passage tube.

Vacuum leak WILL offset the intended 14.7 to 1 air fuel ratio.

More un-metered air (leaks) will lean out the fuel mixture.

Use small amount of Berryman carb clearer at potential air leak area will help you identify trouble spot.

At idle, just spray and listen for the RPM surge.

The in-rush of carb clearer will increase the RPM on the motor.

Record the problem spot(s) and address it later.

EGR carbon built up require 2+ hours to clean from start to finish.

You will need a new EGR base gasket before your start.

Locate and remove the EGR valve after the vehicle is cool down.

Carefully record the connector and vacuum line (for older vehicle) location by drawing an easily to follow diagram.

Remove the EGR valve.

Inspect the location of the carbon built-up inside the valve and the EGR passage tube.

SOAK these areas with WD-40 spary.

You will need a small screwdriver, cloth hanger and lot of newspaper and time to get this cleaning done right.

RE-SOAK the carbon and let it sit for over-night will also help.

One the last round, pass a shop vacuum of the EGR valve and the passage pipe.

Install the new EGR gasket and connectors.

Allow the vehicle to warm up outdoor to burn up any remaining WD-40.

Take it for a test drive.

SOURCE: How do I clean the EGR PIPE in this 1996 Trooper?

It should just unbolt. The problem is those tend to get frozen to the exhaust manifold, especially the higher mileage ones. Once you get it of, let it set in carb cleaner for awhile. If you have a flexable wire gun stock type brush, this will help aid you in this. You might even try a local machine shop for the carb solvent if you do not have any.

Aztec was derived from the line of GM minivans. Many mechanical parts are interchangeable with Pontiac Montana, Chevy Venture and Olds Silhouette of that vintage. Obviously the sheetmetal is, I would say, unique.

I need to know what fuse runs the power windows in a 2003 pontiac aztec

The power windows use a circuit breaker not a fuse. The circuit breaker is located in the center council fuse block. It is likely nit the problem. If you have a little electrical knowledge and a test light or a volt meter I can help you figure out what is going on.

Didn't put on the radiator cap on right and sprayed the inside of hood, now my car won't start. Isn't the battery, or alternator, has to be something electrical. Does anyone know what it could be?

That would be Dex-cool antifreeze The stuff will deteriorate intake gaskets, sos there's not much telling what it could do to the various sensors electrical connectors under the hood. The only thing I can think of to do is disconnect and clean all the sensors and wiring connectors you can get to.You'll need to use a spray cleaner that is safe on electronics, and won't leave a residue or film. I don't know if brake parts cleaner will work or not. I know it would clean anything it touches, but may not be safe on the wiring and electronics. Try Radio Shack, or an office supply to see what type of cleaners they have in spray cans.Check your air filter to make sure it did not get soaked. Good luck. Let me know if this works.

Try a starter fluid. Sometimes it takes a while to start if it was flooded with the cleaner. Try leaving the hose assembly off and open the throttle to let it dry out.

  • In the vast majority of cases, simply cleaning the MAF sensor does the trick. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling

2001 Aztec wont start with out either

Chjk out yourMaF Sensor. All the symtoms of a dirty or malfunctioning maf. It's in thhe intake ducting in a metalsection, or in the air cleaner box YThe wires to it will help you locat it.It can be cleaned using C R C electricalspray cleaner. Do not brush rub or use compress air. the unit is very espensive and fragile. The spray cleaner dries fast on its own. Make sure nothing (dirt ) is in the ducting to get sucked into the motor. Good Luck, Ned_
