Check the vacuum lines for rot or leaks. One behind the trottle body and others that operate the vents on the AC /Heat ,,Check for the proper settings for the throttle , sounds like it is flooding out. Too much fuel.

Sound like a vacuum leak to me, check all vacuum lines to see if they are all connected and have no splits or damage.

Does the vehicle restart and die when you put it in gear. If answer is yes then you need a torque converter clutch solenoid (TCC) or a brake light switch. The brake light switch cancels the TCC at a slow down or stop.. If it doesn't cancel it you will stall out. If your vehicle restarts and dies once you put it in gear then its the TCC. If none of these symptons fit your vehicle get back to me .

Grinding when in reverse and tries bogging down at lights

stop shifting so hard. your reverse gear is the same exact gear as your first, so if you shift hard and grind that gear a little then reverse will be harder to get into. you probably need your transmission rebuilt the harder your engine has to work the more its going to bogg down
