If you look under the hood on the drivers side on the firewall you will see a white clip that holds four lines it is about a foot down in the center of the vehicle. The black heater hose might be in the way just push or pull on it a little and stick a straw in the white stub coming out of the firewall. If you are looking from under the vehicle it is in the center on the drivers side above the transmission on the firewall, and the black heater hose might be blocking the white stub. Stick a straw in it and water will pour out. You may need to wiggle it so more water comes out. The drain hose is very hard to find!!! I was lookin on the passenger side but it is not there!!!!!! It's definitely in the center kinda on drivers side.

Why does my air conditioner leak water on passager side floor

The Evaporator box has a Drain tube, this is blocked and not letting the water drain off ,hence the build up of water in the box which will overflow into the passengers side .
The drain tube needs to be unblocked to let the water drain off.

Condensation water from air conditioner soaking front and rear passenger carpets. Where is drain located?

98 grand cherokee limited 5.2L same problem found leak not from heater box but from drain mount on firewall under the glove box not behind it. drain line should be located behind right front tire in the frame. Turn your wheels hard left look inside fender well right side towards back side. hole in frame where drain line should come out.

There is water draining from a hose connected to my firewall in my mitsubishi montero sport 2003. the hose is on the passenger side and drains down by the front wheel

Does it do this all the time or only while running the air conditioner? There are two possibilities. One, when the a/c is running, water condenses on the evaporator and it has to drain out of the box via that hose, this is normal. Two, your heater core is leaking and this is where the water is coming from.

Why does water leak inside the passenger side of my 2001 mitsubishi montero from my air conditioner?

your a/c evaporator drain is stopped up or blocked off can be seen at firewall area on passenger side looks like a short black hose coming out of firewall and turns down with nothing hooked to it if this gets restricted the blackbox under your dash fills with water and eventually leaks in floor you can try and run small piece of wire up hose to unstop but be careful not to punchure evaporator core

Can you tell me where the ac evaporator drain is on a 2002 mitsubishi montero ltd is? I have moisture dripping from the evaporator case inside the vehicle and suspect external drain is plugged, but cant...

Look right under the evap box, exactly where the ac lines go in the fire wall,it might even have a drip boot on it,it will come out of the fire wall, and turn down, the end will be sort of mashed together to keep out debris.
