Question about 2004 Cadillac Escalade Ext
With the conversion kit for the air ride was suppose get rid of the service ride control message. Instead my brakes do not seem to be fuctioning properly and my abs and traction control light are on. Plus the console says "service ride control and Service stability"
Take out the part you have fitted and have the OBD codes cleared ,then refit the part and see if the same happens

You can check out what the trouble code is by pushing and holding the information button and the up arrow (right side of instrument cluster above the radio) until all the instrument clusters light. Press the information button (last) to enter test mode. I've had an error C1234, meaning Left rear wheel sensor fault. I found the problem to be a corroded connector under the chasis just under the rear left door about 2 feet in. I had to by-pass (replace 1 wire due to corrosion at the connector.

The most common problem is the rear auto level shocks leaking and/or the pump is bad. What happens ids one or both of the shock leak air, and the pump runs overtime to keep the truck level, and burns up the pump. everything is expensive.
