Question about 2006 Ford Bantam 1.3i
The battery light is on while thae bukkie is still driving?
get a volt meter across the battery terminals and see what its reading when the light is on.
i would need to see at least 12.8v min at idle with no load and at least 13v at 2500rpm with lights, heater etc on.
You must have more than 12.6v or the battery will not charge.
Either a regulator fault, control unit or alternator fault.
Or... get a scanner hooked up and read the live data and any codes.
