SOURCE: i have a 2000 model barina and my headlights cut out when using the indicators

If the Head lights and Indicators are on the same switch (on the steering column) , then it's a pretty good guess the switch will have to be replaced.

1999 ford au ute petrol pump works but not getting power to it car won't start is there a fuse we have missed or cut off switch, relay does work also

Did you have any accident? If you did check the owner's manual for the reset procedure for the fuel pump cutoff switch, Also keep in mind the fuel pump is only powered when the engine is being cranked over or running of course.

1995 Geo Prizm. A/C works and is properly charged but fan won't turn on. also speedometer doesn't work and longer.. any correlation?

blower fan in dash.
fan on RAD
fan in front of ac condenser in front of car.
does the fan in dash blow , on high?????????
does it? if not say so.

the car is Corolla,
and same car.
and works same.
when the Blower dies, in the dash , the A/C will be cut off fast.(but not if blower is dead)
this is normal for blower dead. (power to it, dead )
this is to prevent icing up of the evap core (might crack it)
SPEEDO SIDE TRACKED:
are both speedo and odom are dead?
why not say so/?

26232154-4g1iytzfkimywqjfw30jhjyb-3-0.jpg rule 2, if the dash blower blows on high , its not the resistor block
proof.
below.

on high the resistor block is bypassed,
if blower works and that center fuse below blows, the AC goes dead because 12v dont make it to the the clutch relay.
if top fuse below blows, a./c and blower die. even on high.
26232154-4g1iytzfkimywqjfw30jhjyb-3-1.jpg
you can see all this stuff on mitchell's, if you want. as most do.

btw , the a/c compressor may work , if the the blower has power, but the blower is burned out.
the A/C amp logic module sees the 12vdc leaving the switch and assumes the blower works.
this rule on blower on, is to keep the core from icing over, and that can bend things.
that resistor block is air cooled, and is on the fan chamber to get cooled that way, if not it burns up.
but why not tell us if the fan works on high.
that way we save 90% of all BS guessing.
why not?

first is fuses.
then if fan blows on high only, then the fan is ok and the resistor block is bad.
if blower dead on high, the blower is bad,
the fuse blown or the wires to it are bad or the switch,
what a tech does is use his voltmeter, a $10 tool.
if you have 12vdc to the motor then the fan is history, dead.
if not, 12vdc there, fan on, then you work them meter backwards until you find the open circuit.
really its that simple.
if confused ask quesitions.
if you cant test the fan on high, tell why?

I have a dawoo matiz car .790cc year 2000.wich keeps blowing the e.c.m fuse and this cuts off the fuel supply. sometimes it starts ok then suddenly it blows again i checked the fuel pump and seems

Check exactly when you do have a blown fuse as you are driving and in turning or as you driving normally. Also check the wires between E.C.M and Engine. The fuel Supply cuts off surely as soon as the E.C.M Fuse is blown because the fuel supply is going through the E .C. M.

I have a Kia sportage 2000 4x4 the indicator fuse keeps blowing, unfortunately this cuts out the motor. The fuse needs to be replaced to re start the engine. The fuse lasts for a while then blows...

the problem could be coming from the indicator relay as doesn't blow fuse instantly, try with the 4 way flasher on and see if relay get over heated , electronics work in weird and varied ways ,most fuses supply power to more than one function , check what the other function's run from the problem fuse , this will , hopefully explain why the engine cuts out,

My 1997 k1500 5.0 keeps blowing the fuse for the fuel pump, the pump was put in about 6 months . i track a grey wire from the fuel pump RELAY through the back but don't know to what it gose to,i cut the...

that gray wire is the fuel pump power supply . You cut the wire were an positive tested it ??? An what does that mean . you positive tested it ? Wish you people would learn to talk like a mechanic would ! If you cut the wire near the relay an checked with a ohm meter or a test light with B+ volt , of couse it going to show ground ! It's going through the fuel pump windings to ground on the other side . What fuse keeps blowing ?ECM B - 20 amp ? This powers the fuel pump as well . May not even be the fuel pump circuit blowing the fuse . You need to find everything that fuse powers and isolate the different circuits . Videos on youtube showing how to find a short .

My shuts off while driving

the car engine has a well know problem with the crank position sensor, if it is bad or the connection loose or incorrect, you will have this problem.
There are two reasons for engine shutting down. A: Electrical; spark plugs no longer getting spark and engine dies out abruptly. B: Gas starvation. This is usually because of gas pump or something which stops the gas from getting to the carburator/injector. Of course, this can be electrical, also, as the fuel pump may be an electric one and if the fuse for it goes out the pump stops working. In these cases the engine does not stop abruptly, but dies out as the gas in the line is used up.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
