1968 to present no non deity can guess.this ever.

there are 2 causes
bad engine (weak) or bad transmission not told.
if RPM of engine rises good but not MPH that means bad trans
if RPM is low only and weak that is a weak engine
we check all fuses
then we scan the PCM in USA 1996 up all all OBD2 scan tools work
and it tells you things bad, called DTC errors

really no car told

what parts have you replaced so far
can be simple or more electronic fualt
to the distributor cap to the coil
that delica has fault codes
if no better
then do a compression test see if it is valves

check for air in the fuel system
If you did not bleed the system after replacing the filter that will be a fair bet.

You will find the engine number stamped on the block, behind and slightly below the alternator

Cleaning you air filter , fuel filter and water separator must be bleeding it might have a water in it.

the thermostat location in any car is always located between engine hot leg or water exhaust port and radiator. it has two bolts attach to the engine(the hot leg or the water exhaust port).

Follow the positive lead from the battery this will lead you to the starter motor. + positive

if the codes on the blocks match each other id say so .
