Question about 2005 Chevrolet Uplander
2006 Chevrolet Uplander. My children threw an umbrella and broke the plastic shield that protects my speedometer. Since they did that the speedometer needle will reset lower and lower each time you start it. I have to reach up and move it back to zero each time i start it. I am going to replace the entire cluster. Do I need to take it to GM to have the mileage put in or will it automatically display from the PCM.
When the cluster is replaced a certified mechanic will get the mileage and set the odemeter to correct reading, if it's not possible to set the head then he will place a sticker on the door and sign and date it and will post it on the door of the date of change and it is a feloney to remove the sticker.
