SOURCE: cannot open doors to 1994 bmw 740 il with key.

hi jim, try lifting up on the driver's outside door handle slowly while turning the key in the unlock position. The lock cylinder design has a cam on it that usually will catch while lifting the handle. if you have no luck on the driver's side, try the same thing on the passenger's side. be patient, it make take a few tries before the door unlocks.

Remove back seats

According to the service manual for my 2006 VUE, 2 bolts in front and 5 bolts behind the rear seat is all you need to remove to get the whole seat out. Removal of any components of the rear seat always starts with "remove the rear seat assembly".

I just need to take out my rear seat and rear passenger side plastic panneling to access the other side of passenger rear quater pannel

The seats should have a couple of bolts one on each side of the car, they are on the inside where the front of the seat meets the floor, sometimes they are partially hidden as the seat cushioning drops down over them. Remove both the bolts and then pick the front of the seat up and slide the back forward then work the seat belts through the seat. The panel should just gently pry off, try one corner gently to get it started, if it doesn't act as if it wants to budge then stop and inquire more in depth information on it.

How do i remove the top half of the back seat in a 1986 caprice. i removed the bottom half with ease but cant seem to find how to remove the top. And im also having trouble removing the door panels

There will be 2 bolts (possibly anchored to the seat belts) on both outer sides ( they may be 18mm nuts or T-50 torx head bolts). Remove them and lift the rear seat straight up, as they lock into hooks in the rear partial shelf.

Need to know location of gas filter

It is behind the rear seat cushion and the access panel. To do this open the rear doors on the 2005 Hyundai and locate the two main connector bolts that hold each rear seat in place. The two bolts are located under the front part of each rear seat. Remove the four bolts with a 3/8 inch ratchet and a 12mm socket. Turn the bolts counter-clockwise to loosen and remove the bolts. Slide the rear seats out of the seat compartment. Then slide the rear seats out of the car. If you want do some more intricate work like replacing the filter then follow this link.

Had a transmission line pulled off when being towed and need to replace it. Is there any thing I can see to help me?

no, this is one of those situations where you either have the parts to splice it back together or you need to replace the whole line. . Its a dealer part unless you can remove it and go to a autoparts house and match it up.

Is it easy to replace the driver seat in a 1996 buick century?

It should have bolts holding down the back of the seat. If you can get to these, remove them. Most CAR seats do not have bolts in the front - only tabs that slide into slots in the floorboard. Once the rear bolts are out, you should be able to slide the seat loose and remove it. There will be a wire plugged in underneath or on the seat belt assembly that you will have to unplug before removing the seat.
