SOURCE: 1999 honda accord idle problem:

Is the engine light on, if so have them read? Take a look the charging system (see if it is above 13volts and below 16volts), see if the gas cap is on firmly and the o-ring on it is in good shape, look at the cars maintenance history and see how long its been since the last complete tune-up. If there are no codes recorded then it would probably be a mechanical issue, Look at coils, fuel pressure, timing, and injectors. If you need more specific info, just let me know, Good luck.

My 1998 200sx stopped accelerating while getting on freeway.

Could be the cable that actavates the throttle plate on the intake..
The cable comes from the gas pedel and pulls on the throttle plane in the intake manifold.. opening the plate to let air flow through to the engine. On the other side from the cable is a plastic sensor with wires attached to it this is the Throttle position sensor.. if this is disconnected or broken the computer cannot receive the single that you are pushing on the gas pedel.. very rare for the throttle position sensor to break completly.. best posibility broken cable.. open hood find cable connected to throttle body, have someone in car push pedel see if it moves. Good luck.

I have a delta 88 Oldsmobile and the car starts up just fine when when I go to put it in drive it doesn't move or I barely press the gas it start to move real slow. I have replaced fuel filter, coil pack,...

do you have a transmission problem? if you press on the brake pedel with you left foot and press down far on the gas pedal with your right foot-does the car want to really take off! or does the engine just rev like neutral or slipping with no grip?

Not quite everything is fine.
Is the check engine light on ?
When you push on the gas pedal, does the engine speed change ?
Can you rev up the engine in park ?
What have you checked so far ?

Are there vacuum hose on the brakes hydraulic system?

NO. the vacuum is used to make the brake pedal easy to push, power brakes. the pedal would be hard without vacuum, that is why the pedal gets hard with the key off and engine not running. the problem you are having is more of a hydraulic problem.
Have the brakes checked asap. the brake system may have a leak causing the pedal to go low. check the fluid level and if it is low or empty then there is a problem, could be a rotted brake line leaking or a wheel cylinder leaking.

Engine will crank but will not turn over

our experiensces of this when all is going well - was the car ran out of gas......or stop getting gas....ensure the gas matter & pour a little gas over the carberator & give it another try or so....when you are driving & it just goes dead slowly - fuel-connected circumstances are usually the 1st problem.....

got fuel, starter working, battery ok etc. - its a fuel matter more than likely.....

gee where to start....fuel filter, O2 sensor, map or maf sensor, egr valve, get a fuel pressure tester and check psi at fuel rail. (35 to 45 psi. key on - engine off).
