Question about 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Sedan
I have a 2007 Charger SRT8. I love the car but I have one complaint. When taking off from a stop sign at a normal pace the transmission shifts all the way into 5th gear by the time you get to 40 mph. If you press the gas all the way down it will shift down and take off. However, it really seams like it is shifting too fast. Is this a fuel economy feature or does the computer need work? Thanks for your help.
This is actually a normal shift pattern when this vehicle is in OD mode. It set to allow best fuel economy. the Pcm is fine. this is just a factory setting that is used to help with fuel consumption. You can tune this out by purchasing a chip for the Cpu.(high performance chip)
