Well coming from the radio harness its hard to tell unless you have an adapter. On my s13 i just drilled a wire to the steel frame that hold the dash together and that works fine. make sure its nice and tight and use a self tapping screw

SOURCE: Need to remove aftermarket radio in a 1990 nissan 240sx

Remove the shift knob. Starting on the console around the shifter, gently pull up on the "bezel". When it comes off you'll see the radio's held in (with the little storage area) by 4 Phillips screws.

SOURCE: I put a new alternator on my car and drove it with

In order for the alternator to do its job, it obviously needs to be installed correctly..

That being said..we will take the grass roots approach on this one.

The alternator is part of your charging system.

In this particular case, if you use a voltmeter, you will probaly see that your battery is dead.

Charge your battery.

Use the normal precautions when doing this.

If it is not a maintenance free battery, pop your vent lids to the battery while charging.

Its important that your battery is FULLY charged before re-starting.

(in some cases, your warranty on the alternator can be voided if this is not the case)

If the alternator is doing its job, the battery will stay fully charged.

Testimonial: "Thank you so much I went back to get a jump because it is a new battery youreally know your stuff."

If it's a manual gear box, there is a button on the steering colomn. Press it while turning the key backwards and the ignition should roll back into the steering lock position. If this was at all helpful, please rate. Thanks for asking.

1996 240sx driver window

Window problems can be hard to find the cause. but for what you tell us here I would say that you most likely have a broken wire in the door jam where the hinges are. Wires are known to break in this areas it may be on the ground side that it has broke. If you have a hard time see any cuts in the wires then pull and feel the wires, they could be broken on the inside of the rubber where you can't see them.
