1996 Isuzu Rodeo Drivers Window

I need to replace the window regulator on my driver's window, but I also need to replace the plastic supports that attach the window to the regulator. All the regulators that I have looked at do not include these 2 plastic supports. Where do I find them?

The only places that have those parts are the Isuzu dealer and shops that specialize in repairing car windows and windshields.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The only window that does not work from the driver control is the drivers window - it went down now it will not go up - how can i tell if it is the switch or the window motor?

I'd check power to the drivers window motor...
Gain access to the window motor and put a voltage meter on the motor's power plug.
Turn on the ignition switch to allow power to all windows and while multimeter is connected to motor power plug...rock your window switch to see if you get voltage.
If ya get voltage...switch is good.

Sometimes motors go bad but usually its the window regulator that is the culprit.

3 0f 4 windows will not go down in my 1996 Rodeo

If the window jerks while you try to put it up or down, but doesn't seem to move, chances are good you need a regulator assembly. You need to remove the door interior panel, then the regulator, but they are not simple, and some are rivited in, as they need to be drilled out. Price a regulator and go from there!

Rear driver side window seems to be stuck...

it is possible the regulator is fine and it just came unattached from the glass. Grasp the glass and try to move it up and down if it will move up and down tape it up until you get it fixed. If it seems like it is still attached then yes likely you will need to replace the regulator.

Power windows

This means you need to head to the junk yard and replace the unit that controlls all the windows from the drivers seat. Very simple fix. Good luck
