some times it might be that it just needs to be sanded down or there is too much break dust. so just spray it down with a power wash and if it doesn't work try to sand down the roaters. but be carefull.

There are only to Catalysts monitored by the ECM. There is a wide pipe near the front of the exhaust system that looks like it houses a catalyst, but it doesn't. Look for the rear O2 sensor, that is where the catalyst is. If the bolts that hold it on are not badly rusted, and depending on your mechanical aptitude you could replace them, otherwise take it to a shop. Have you checked the warranty coverage with the dealership?

There's a vaccuum line that runs off the SCV to the SCV check switch.
P0442: Have you inspected the lines, charcoal cannister etc? Make sure the fuel cap is tight. The easiest way to check the system is to have someone perform a smoke test. I had a DTC on my car which indicated a EVAP problem, it turned out to be the Fuel tank evaporator Control Solenoid.
