SOURCE: I have a 2005 chevy

Treed55508,

Try this solution. I have had the same issue three times. A Chevy tech told me that if it keeps doing it, to replace the blower motor, as it seems to be a chronic problem with the blower having to much resistance and thus burning out the resistors. I suspect that you probably had lost one speed first and then more. It has happened both ways with me, once the entire thing went out at once and then the other times it goes one speed at a time.

SOURCE: heater fan not working in 05 Chevy Equinox

I suspect you also checked the fuses, some vehicles are double protected, especially since you usually have to remove the entire dash panel to get to the heater fan blower motor. It should be in the middle or under the glove box, should be located in a plastic box that has like a bell shape to where the motor is. check fuses then check wiring, and make absolutely certain the relay was the correct one that you changed, in a 3 year old vehicle the fan motor should not be bad yet.

Fan does not work

If you haven't replaced the fan, just do that. It's pretty cheap and there's only 3 bolts holding it in place. Just get the motor and use the plastic fan piece from the old blower motor. It will save you a couple dollars.

If you have replaced the fan and it still doesn't work. Then I don't know.

Heater fan not working in a 1996 Chevy S-10

I looked at wiring diagrams at bbbindustries: the orange wire to the 20 amp htr fuse is direct from the ignition switch. You might check: that orange wire splices to the 10 amp brake fuse (fuse #12). check if that also has any voltage problems.
There are two black fusible links that supply power to the ignition switch. the fusible links come from the battery junction block.
