If you need to repair the brake module, there is a fantastic article, complete with photos, at http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec116.shtml

I followed this example for my '98 and now it works perfectly. I found a shop on eBay to rebuild my module (lifetime warranty) for under $200. It took me about 1 hour to pull it off and about 45 min to put it back on with minimum shop tools

If there is no communication, check for power to the module. If power is present, you need a module. If no power, find the source of the power and fix that.

How to check for power? Where is the fuse for ABS module? Is there just one fuse or two (I found somewhere that ABS module has 2 fuses??)

Traction control light on car jerks when you put it in gear 2001 Audi a6 Quattro what do I need to do to fix it

You will need the systems control module scanned for fault codes, when the light is on a code is in memory.

Break light and anti-brake comes on sometimes on My 1999 Audi A6

This is common in the audi cars. It may be that your ABS module is failing or the the connector to the ABS pump located in the engine compartment on the drivers side, with black metal lines going into it. Their is a large black connector that sometimes needs to be unplugged and cleaned and plugged back in

ABS Warning Light

A problem in the ABS, you'll have to see a shop for that because they should have the proper scan tool to check the ABS (generic's can't cut it with the in depth modules).

I have a 03 Audi A6 Quattro with the ESP & ABS light on

It's probably your brake check switch going bad, it's under the driver's side dash above the brake pedal. I had the same problem and eventually my cruise control and brake lights stopped working when it failed completely. This is also a redesigned part that you can get from the dealer for about $8, which to me indicates they new the part caused problems and failed to notify owners. Try that before Audit tries telling you wires are faulty.

Not sure

Do you get a flashing ABS light or BRAKE light along with the beeps? If so, this is indicative of an ABS failure, which is either a wheel speed sensor or (much more likely) the ABS controller. I've had an ABS/wheel speed sensor fail on my A4 and I had no beeping, but people I know have had the beeps and had to replace or rebuild the ABS module. If you do have this problem, go to www.modulemaster.com and call them - they can rebuild the ABS module for a couple hundred dollars give or take, versus several times that cost for a new one.

If you are only getting the beeping, but not the lights flashing, it could still indicate this failure, but Audi usually has the cars set up to indicate what is wrong by flashing lights as well as the beeping, to help you see what the problem is.
