SOURCE: 93 Vector Sport. Turbo keeps cutting out

very common issue with post 2001 turbos. the fault is usualy down to the air flow meter (mounted on the airbox or induction pipe). you will find its at its worst when warm. do not fall for a garage telling you the turbo has failed.

SOURCE: the engine management light has come on and cannot

you can try re sync the key by pressing the unlock button 4 times in a row, that normally resets the key back to the car, also the engine managment light will have to be checked by either purchasing a diagnostic system ( actually could be cheaper than taking to local dealer sometimes check out ebay i got 4 cheap ones) and that will tell you what the other problem is, sorry its not much help..

Honda civic 1.6 sport... Engine management light come on whilst driving on the motorway, and the car just died.. Had to come to a stop and restart the engine, drove another couple of miles, and it died...

you need to get someone with a obd reader to get the fault codes out of the engine controle module to help you sort that out it could be lots of things but sounds like a fuel delivery problem like fuel filter restricted or pump faulty

It runs fine but then every so often it starts losing power and alarm will go off and it flashes traction control defect on dash but no engine light last a few seconds then is fine for awhile

I would probably go ahead and have the computers scanned for trouble codes. You might find a code that would point you in the right direction to troubleshoot the problem.
It could be a low fuel pressure issue that won't set a code.
The traction control warning light can come on if the engine is having problems, as well as the braking system.

Fault P0700 indicates TCM Faulty or Transmission Failure?

It means either, what it means is this, the Transmission Control module (TCM) has requested the Powertrain control module (PCM) to turn on the check engine light because the TCM has detected a ****** fualt is present, this can be any of a bout 20 problems, that is all it means. What must be done now is to have the TCM scanned for the fault code(s) that alerted the PCM to turn on the CEL.

How to reset the engine management light on a peugeot 207

You will first need to get the car plugged into a diagnostic system or an OBD2 scanner to find the problem codes to tell you why the lights came on. Some local mechanics will do it a lot cheaper than a dealership or having to buy a decent scanner to do it yourself. Once the problem is fixed use the same type of system or scanner to clear the codes and lights.
Simply clearing the codes won't work. The lights will just come back on.
The reason for the light could be several different problems from a misfiring spark plug to a head gasket problem, (expensive). Comment with the codes below and I'll try to help you with them.

2004 Hyundai Elantra won't start, emergency flashers keep blinking, can't shut off, lights dim, can't jump start, clicking from under dash from relays. What could it be?

The 'Keyless Entry & Burglar Alarm System" is activated. You must 'Disarm' the system using the Keyless Entry Remove (Key Fob) to "Reset" the system. The reason the engine won't start is due to the burglar alarm - it has a "Starter Kill" circuit which is activated when the alarm is activated. The alarm must be DEactivated to DEactivate the 'Starter Kill' circuit.
Another way to start the engine is to get in the car, put the key in the ignition and turn it to 'ON" and wait 3 to 5 minutes until the emergency flashers stop/turn off. Afterward, you should be able to start the engine. NOTE: This does NOT reset the burglar alarm. It will go off again when you enter the vehicle without using the remote/key fob.

Key alarm code

I'm haveing a problem with my 2006 RR Sport car alarm. I can lock the door with the remote, but my alarm keeps going off. It stops but continues to go off during the day. The only message that I have received in the recent month is that my "Bonnett was open". Found out my Bonnett is the hood. Made sure the hood was closed tight and I have not received the message. But the alarm keeps going off.
