Question about 2003 Ford Crown Victoria

Trying to get to ac and heating controls some of the finish molding around it needs to be removed not sure how it comes off dont want to break it could you please help!

Have you tryed to see if there is any screws hidden,on some vehicales there are screws behind the control knobs.

How do I remove headliner 1998 expedition

At the corners of the headliner you will see some trim moldings. They have to be remove make sure that if you see screws on the moldings that they get remove before prying them off. The trim moldings come off by prying them loosed. Pull on them, they should pot right off be careful not to break them. In the center of the headliner you will see some over head consoles they have to be removed to, check for hidden screws before trying to pull them off. Also disconnect the plugs on the overhead consoles.

How to remove winsheild

you need a windshield remover, has a piano wire on it,

or you could try to start cutting with knife inside the car all around
start at one spot apply pressure keep going.

Now make sure to disconnect neg. battery or you could pop airbags
to install new one make sure all the framing is completely clean no old urethane
cut v into urethane tube and apply high bead of about 3/4"
you have to apply alot of force to set it, professionals have suction cups that apply to glass and tye rope around both seats overnight.
dont drive for 12 hrs as your efforts will have gone to waste by breaking your urethane seal

A/c heating unit- blower works with no ac or heat

You did not say if this is a standard htr/ac or automatic temp control. Sounds like the temperature motor is failing ( automatic Temp Control) You can get to this through the glove compartment, though it is hard. The motor sits on top the plenum (4 8mm screws). remove and replace. You will need to break the case to remove one of the screws. It will not hurt anything just be sure to break small pieces ,just enough to remove the screws.

How to remove a ac/compresor

To Remove the AC compressor you first have to have the freon vacumed out before you break the lines. If the freon has already leaked out then you dont have to worry about it. The AC generally has four mounting bolts securing it to the engine loosen those four bolts as well as the two AC lines and the belt. If you are trying to replace the AC compressor yourself you will need to know this is a complex job. Most places will not warranty the compressor unless you also replace the accumilator as well as the orfice tube or expansion valve which ever the case may be.You will also want to flush out the system with AC flush and while you are removing each part be sure to replace the o rings associated with each part. Once you have all the parts back together then you need to have the system vacumed out to remove all the moisture this is crucial other wise you will have prmature failer of your compressor. Once all this has been done then you can charge the system back up. Oh as you remove each part plug the lines to prevent contamination from getting in there. The compressor may or may not come pre oiled so youll need to oil the system back up.

How to replace bulbs for ac/ heater control unit

1. Remove the dash around radio (just clips)
2. Remove 2 screws pointing up . (You do not need to remove screws which are parallel to the floor)
3. Remove screw pointing up on the bottom of the dashboard on left side of the driver (near left leg).
4. Remove 2 screws pointing up in the instrument cluster area.
5. Put car in 1st gear and gently remove black plastic surrounding instruments (it will have ait vents, so slide it carefully out not to damage foam insulation on air ducts; start on the bottom hear steering column) ; unplug connectors to clock and emergency flashers.
6. Remove 2 screws, now exposed, near instrument area, holding dashboard. (that was what I spent most time on, I didn't know about this screws.
7. Now gently remove (or move up) dashboard (around instrument cluster and heating controls.) Start next to ignition (careful not to damage the bulb next to the ignition.
Since you only need to get to the heating controls block, I only move up the dashboard next to it.
8. Remove 2 screws that hold the heating control and slide heating control out . This step is unnecessary If you totally removed the dashboard.
9. Pull out lever controls for fan speed, zone and temp
10. Use the screwdriver (flat) to pry 2 plastic tabs on top and on the bottom of heating control so black cover can be remover.
11. You did it! two bulbs are going to be under the cover.

I am trying to install a in dash cd player in my 2000 mitsubishi diamante and we cant get the stock stereo out its stuck i dont know if the wood part aroun the stereo comes out so we can get to the wires...

You need to pull the center vent out and the ashtray. Then you will need to unscrew the four screws and pull the radio and ac/heat controlls out at thesame time. Then on the backside of that there will be some more screws that must be removed.

Odor coming from the heating AC system on a 99 300 M

Mold and mildew builds up in the system from moisture in the air, dealers have chemicals they spray inside the ducting to kill these molds and mildews, the service runs about $100, there is no permanent fix, this will need to be done from time to time as req'ed, a short term fix is to spray Lysol into the heating/AC air inlet at the base of the windshield, run the blower on high and set to outside air, spray in about 1/2 can and then turn of the system and let it set.

How to remove the stereo from a 2000 Mazda Protege

gently pull of the moulding around the top ac vents and control knobs, then yes, use a flat head screw driver to pry at the feathered mount at the bottom of the stereo. careful not to pull to hard the ac/heat controls could disconect. pain in the *** to put back.

Exterior door trim

The molding in the middle of the door clips on. Remove interior door panel to access the clips, they usually break off. Or do you mean the black tapes (stickers) around the window opening, they are just stickers. Take a heat gun to loosen glue and peel off.
