Probably the alternator not charging for some reason. you need to have a tech diagnose it.

It sounds like you have a defective alternator. The diode in the alternator my be bad and therefore not charging the battery. Have your mechanic test the alternator to confirm that that is the problem. If not the alternator, than your battery may be bad and not able to hold a charge. How old is your battery? More than 4 years old?

If the starter drags and the extra amperage from the second jump battery may over come the dragging caused by worn out bushings in the starter. If it doesn't drag then your solenoid may be getting hot and sticking. The first one I mentioned seems the most likely though. If it starts fine when it's cold then after it's driven for a while it's a pretty good sign. You could always do a starter amperage draw test on it by starting it and driving to the parts store ask them to do a starter amperage draw test then when they get out there with the equipment THEN shut the engine off wait a couple of seconds and try to start it after they get hooked up. This should give you an indication. Other way pull the starter off and take it too have it tested. Hope this helps.

Where is the fuel pump fuse on a 94 plymouth sundance

I would not think a fuse would be the problem. A fuse either blows or it is good. The relay might be at fault, but I would think it is the pump going bad.

1994 plymouth sundance with loss of horse power

On this i think you will find you have a pluged cadilac converter. Try taking the bolts out of the pipe going to the convert and move it out of the way so not to restrict the exhaust. You may need to wire it up to the bottom of the car so it wont drag. It is going to be loud but take it for a run if it accelerates like it should you will need to replac the converter. If it doesnt then check for a code on the TPS switch. { Throttle Posions Sencor} Good luck and hope this helps.

When trying to start my 1991 Plymouth Sundance America I hear only a clicking sound. I replaced the battery but it did not work. Can it be the alternator?

sounds like you have a bad starter.not your alternator.if the battery is good the car should start even if the alternator is bad.you can even drive the car until the battery runs low.the alternator job is to keep the battery charged.soulds like the solinoid is clicking.but no responce from the starter.have starter checked.

94 Plymouth Sundance.. engine light and sluggish from dead stop! Help

What you do is turn the ignition to the "on" position and back to the "off" position 3 times. On the last "on/off" cycle, leave the key in "on". The check engine light will start flashing. The first group of flashes is the 1st number of the code. There will be a pause and then a 2nd set of flashes will be the 2nd number of the code. If there's more than one code, there will be a pause and then there will be another set of flashes for the next code and so on. A Haynes or Chilton's repair manual, available at any parts store, will tell you what the codes mean.
