Air conditioner I have a question I was just wondering is there any way to modify the air conditioner to make it blow harder in a jaguar. I have a 1993 and the air works nothing wrong with the compressor but it does not blow hard and with me living in Mississippi it gets to 97-100 degrees here. can anyone help?

It maybe possable.
you will need to run full power jumper wires to the blower motor and see if its better.
if it gets better there a problem with the switch at max
if it dosent get better and theres nothing wrong with the air box then it will be the best it can be.
hope this helps

thank you

Where is the air termistor in jaguar xj6 1993

At the bottom of the passenger side kick panel. Sometimes the little fan inside gets gummed up with dust and cannot pull in air to the sensor. Just blow it out and see it it starts spinning again.

WHEN I TURN ON THE AC UNIT AND PUT IT AS LOW AS IT CAN GO (60 DEGREES), IT JUST BLOW OUT VERY HOT AIR. I EVEN PUT FRERON IT AND STILL NOT CHANGE.

Jaguar has a climate control module that is complicated. But first, you need to check if the air-conditioner air compressor is working or not before you do anything. When you ad a freron, and the compressor clutch does not kick out, that mean your air compressor need to be replace.

Windshield wiper fuse blows when Air conditioner is switched on

This sounds like somewhere along the lines, your wires are exposed and touching. Look for an area that may have been modified. For example, when people put aftermarket radios in, things can get tight/rough when putting the new headunit in. Perhaps your wires were pinched?

Air conditioner on 1993 gmc jimmie doesn't blow out cold air. The fan runs however the clutch on the air conditioner unit won't kick in

if clutch isnt kicking in, there only could be two things.....electrical issue(test the clutch connector for voltage, relays etc.), or low or no freon(have it vacuum tested if voltage is fine). Hopefully this helps

Air conditioner isn't blowing cold air

Could be a number of things...electrical connections causing the compressor not to run. Turn on AC and turn your thermostat all the way to cool...now visually check to see if compressor is engaged and not just free wheeling. Most likely you lost your refridgerant due to leak in the system...would need to find leak and repair then have your system re-charged with refridgerant. Best case scenario...your system just needs a charge of refridgerant due to not having enough.
