Fuses blow because of higher amperage than what the system is rated for. This could be caused by short to ground or a component such as your A/C compressor that's seizing up demanding more amperage to actually be able to turn. The other issue could be caused by a failed resistor block or contact on the switch. Resistor blocks are usually the cause of this issue.

Thanks for your response HECTOR MORALES and the actual fuse is 10A, Do you think? that using a fuse with 15A or 20A will solve this problem or may cause a overheat in the wiring thanks

I would never put a fuse higher than specified. Fuses are there to protect the circuit putting a fuse higher than what it calls for defeats the purpose and may in fact cause the wiring harness to overheat, melt and even start a fire. You must find the cause of the problem and fix accordingly.

here is the weird situation Right now the 10A fuse pops up immediately after I push the AC button; BUT I tested the AC button with a 15A fuse and the AC clutch turns on fine; that mean that is not a short to ground because the 15A fuse works fine is what I think but I don't want to use the 15A because you know I'm afraid of overheat the wires, and like you said could be that the AC Clutch is demanding more amperage to turn on but how can I solve this ? I will appreciate if you can help me to solve this matter thanks

2002 buick rendezvous cruise control not working . where do I start to diagnose the problem and what steps to follow fuse is good

There are a lot of steps to follow. You will need a volt/ohm meter, a wiring schematic, pin outs for the plugs, and a lot of patience. Just a note though, usually the cruise control module is bad, find one a junk yard and replace it. GM used these on practically all the cars the built around your year. + or - 4 years.

2004 Buick Rendezvous .... No power to climate controls. Ac or heat. Blower fan isn't working either. Compressor clutch does not engage. Was told by previous owner the blower motor may need to be replaced....

It's not the whole dash. You can get to the plugs within a few minutes. The problem will be figuring out why it was unplugged and fixing the real issues. See link below to access the panel 2002 2007 Buick Rendezvous Checking Heater controls

2002 Buick Rendezvous no heat and over heated after warming it up for over 30 minutes.

Have a pressure test done on your cooling system, you sound like you could have a leak in your system or your system just needs to have the air bled from it. Check your coolant level also, with air in the system and not enough coolant it will blow cold and cause overheating.

No power to my ac blower motor.

Could be a fuse, blower relay, resistor, control switch, or a wiring problem.
The resistor should be behind the glove box or on the firewall.

My ac quit working don't think compressor engaging all fuses good

Check the wireing on the front and back of compressor! could be grounding out wrong and or loose conections. My 89 buick had some of the same problem and I had to rewire all conections to the compressor! if that dosent solve the problem then you may have a faulty clutch!

I have a 2002 buick rendezvous and the air compressor has locked up and broke the serpentine belt. Is it possible to re-route the belt to bypass the air compressor or buy a smaller belt? Any other options...

If you have the ac turned off the clutch on the front of the compressor should disengage. Then the ac pulley will spin freely and you can drive until you save up for a new compressor. You may want to save up they are about 3 to 400 bucks plus installation which is about 300.

Where is the A/C high pressure switch located for a 2002 Buick Rendezvous? I followed the low and high pressure lines from the compressor to the firewall and no switch. Thanks, DM

The AC refrigerant pressure sensor is located under the air cleaner housing. It can be serviced by putting the vehicle on a lift and removing the air baffle. Then it can be reached from underneath.

Fuse location

There is not a fuse listed for heated seats but fuse 16 is for heated mirrors and fuse 11 is power seats. i'm guessing one of those should also control the heated seats.
