SOURCE: 04 Endeavor rattling noise
I had the same problem! I crawled underneath the car and discovered that a heat shield on the exhaust header pipe was corroded and rattling against the exhaust pipe. (Before the muffler)
I removed the portion and clamps and solved the problem. Give it a try.

hi there, the knocking may be the cv joints coming apart. they are like a driveshaft u joint setup and when the ball bearing start wearing out they tend to start falling out, and you cant see them because they are covered by a rubber boot

its your lifters. not a serious problem. but it can be. they are what control part of your pistons.
just use better oil. and change it more often.
it happens in alot of hondas

ok the lifters are making noise, make sure you are using the right oil for your temp zone. also add some lucas oil to your engine oil, it will quiet down the engine.
