most likely a bad clutch master cyl....resivoir is attached to it or mounted elsewhere and attached by a large rubber hose. good luck

sounds like the clutch fluid resivior is bone dry or you have a spilt or leak in the line wich is allowing all the pressure to escape hence the pedal not moving back up, start by checking your clutch fluid level

check the slave cylinder... also unhook the line going to the slave and see if the petal gets hard? if it don;t then change the clutch master cylinder

SOURCE: pedal of clutch stays down
eventually the likage goes to the transmission. I suggest you find that likeage and backtrack while oiling the links you find with WD40. Please advise
